Well… I do not need to explain you that it is difficult nowadays to shoot people. Literally and in a photographically figurative way :). Time to crawl back, insulate yourself from the world and finalize long-term film projects. Like this one about Kazakhstan. Namahage (生剥) in traditional Japanese folklore is a demonlike being, portrayed by men wearing hefty oni (ogre) masks and traditional straw capes (mino) during a New Year’s ritual of the Oga Peninsula area of Akita Prefecture in northern Honshū, Japan. And these demonlike beings I have seen performing on the Akita Wonderful Festival 2020 in Tokyo, Yoyogi Park. I also have shot a short video of their drumming performance. Check it out here.
