During my recent visit to St. Petersburg in Russia, I was lucky to be on the concert of the Ukrainian fusion-funk-reggae band SunSay. Their frontman Andrey Zaporozhets is already well-known in the post-Soviet part of the world for his previous music project 5’nizza. Anyway, the concert was terrific, with great sound and atmosphere. It was afternoon, December 31st, 2018. I was in Shiogama, a city in the North-East of Japan, strolling through the local fish market, which was about to close.
