Shortly before the New Year’s Eve, I spent two days in Shköder – the fifth-most-populous city of Albania. Travelling as such is not only learning and enjoying other cultures, traditions, cuisines, nature etc. It is also travelling in time, i.e. it is time travel. Travelling to Albania was for me like a short trip to the early nineties of a post-soviet or a post-socialist country.
